Sweetcake was a popular galactic pastry as late as 43 ABY. It was a favorite not only of legendary Old Republic pilot Garen Muln, but also of Luke and Ben Skywalker. As a figure of speech, "piece of sweetcake" was used in a cavalier way to reference as being 'easy' what in reality was, for most, a very difficult situation.
