Martin Kelner is a journalist, author, comedian and radio presenter, born in Prestwich, Bury, and educated at Stand Grammar School, in nearby Whitefield. Martin, despite being born in Prestwich and living in (the Garden City of) Leeds, is a supporter of West Ham United. Kelner is known on Fighting Talk for his bad gags and unblemished run of hetereosexuality that has lasted well over 30 years, according to Kelner. His bad gags are generally followed by a "rimshot" sound effect and occasionally a "Thank you!"
