Chom Tala was a member of the Twi'lek family clan, Clan Secura, he also was on the Twi'lek Clan Council. He and the rest of the clan had sold his daughter, Kee Tala, into slavery to the Desilijic Fortiure Hutt clan so that she would be safe, but Tala soon regretted it. But he would soon find out that that would have been the last day to ever see her, for she was killed during the Battle of Kolluga's Palace during the Hutt-Black Sun War, but was given appropriate and huge funeral. But the day after the funeral, he committed suicide.
