Josh Lang was a former captain in the United States Navy who later became an astronaut with NASA. During a mission in space, Lang came into contact with an electrical field which caused a series of side effects. Steve Austin was consulted in regards to Lang's health, and charged with determining whether or not he was fit for future space launches.
