The Scandian Republic (Norse: Republiken Svenoras) is a platonic socialist republic in Europe, the only European country besides Rome. A small country by international standards, Scandinavia is one of the most ethnically homogeneous states. An early member of the race to the New World, it has substantial colonies in North Columbia, and uniquely controls the landmass of Groenland. The Norse people are spread over many lines of longitude, but know only a small variety of climates - namely, a subarctic environment.
