Lt. Col. Ben Fordham appears in The Patriot in Purgatory. A former army colleague of Agent Seeley Booth, he provides Booth with information about the Pentagon in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks and searches army records to help Booth identify a deceased soldier, allowing them to put together a timeline for the fate of unsung hero Tim Murphy, a former soldier who gave his life to save three strangers from the Pentagon collapse.
