The Hadron Boson was a YV-666 light freighter originally owned and flown by the smuggler Drake Ralion. He dropped a shipment of illegal weapons in 20 ABY when pursued by a New Republic policing ship and scrambled to pull together enough credits to pay for the shipment. He was ultimately unable to do so, and by early 21 ABY a bounty of 20000 credits was placed for his capture.
