Peel played the comic's free flexidisc "The Oink Song" (credited to The Oinkletts, with Marc Riley on vocals and probably backed by the Creepers) on 04 June 1986. The flexidisc was given away with the comic's first issue, in which Peel was caricatured - in keeping with the comic's pig theme - as "John Potatopeel" (somewhat improbably conducting an interview with "Bacon Stevens"). Peel was also featured as a character in Marc Riley's "Harry The Head" strip in Issue #26.
