A blossoming gulper was an aquatic predator from Mon Calamari. It would bury itself in the sand at the bottom of the sea and leave its petal arms, which resembled the Seatree, to wave naturally with the current. When a creature brushed an arm, it would be seized by the gulper and eaten.
