The Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation performs tasks relating to research and innovation policy and provides secretariat services to and supervises the scientific research councils which allocate funds for independent research, for strategic research and innovation, and which advise the political system. The Agency is an agency under the Danish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Higher Education. The Agency is also responsible for interaction between knowledge institutions and business and industry as well as for international research and innovation partnerships.
