The Gillette Wild are a USA Hockey-sanctioned ice hockey team from Gillette, Wyoming . The team started play as a member of the American West Hockey League as an expansion team in the first year league which was created by members of the Northern Pacific Hockey League who broke away to form their own league. The team now plays in the North American 3 Hockey League after the league was absorbed by the NA3HL en masse. The team plays out of the Campbell County Ice Arena in Gillette.
