Desperation's Refuge was a small encampment on the planet Veroleem, which was operated by former slaves of the Cult of Veroleem that had escaped from their masters and formed a resistance movement. The encampment was constituted of a number of tents, which were capable of being packed up at a moment's notice, to relocate the settement elsewhere. Despite the efforts of the enforcers and scouts of the Cult of Veroleem to find Desperation's Refuge, the township's mobile nature ensured that camp always eluded the cult's clutches.
