The Minardi PS01 was a car which Minardi competed in the 2001 Formula One season. It was driven by Tarso Marques and rookie Fernando Alonso. Mid-way through the season, Marques was replaced by Malaysian Alex Yoong. The significance of the car's name stands for Paul Stoddart, who saved the team from folding at the end of the 2000 season. The PS01 made its début at the Australian Grand Prix, with Alonso finishing 12th on his début.
