The September 2008 Hammish General Election was held on the second anniversary of the Nation and was the first general election of it's type in Hamland. It was contested mainly between Kieran, who campaigned as an independent, and Duke J of the HNP. The election went into a run off and the result had Duke J win by a small amount.
