Farmer. Ran for office for Social Credit in 1980 in QU'APPELLE-MOOSE MOUNTAIN. Lost, bigtime. Ran for the Confederation of Regions (CoR) party in 1984. Lost, bigtime. Did not run in 1988. Member of the Reform party, but as there was no Reform candidate in the riding, voted for and supported the CoR. Ran for Reform again in 1993 in Souris-Moose Mountain (same riding) was narrowly defeated. Ran again for Reform in 1997, this time being elected to office Ran and won for the Alliance in 2000.
