Xaveria was a private in the Dendarii Free Mercenary Fleet, and served with distinction during the liberation of Dagoola IV Top Security Prison Camp #3. Less distinctively, he was part of a group of four Dendarii that held a wine shop clerk hostage in London on Earth in a dispute over payment. In an attempt to apply Admiral Naismith-style deception to his legal dilemma, Xaveria threatened to blow up the wine shop if the police tried to come in. On Admiral Naismith's orders, he surrendered to the local authorities. He was bailed out later with his fellow renegades by Naismith's clone.
