The Procurator of Public Safety was a Mesan government official reponsible for maintaining public order in the Mesa System. The Office of Public Safety answered only to the Procurator. The holder of the office in 1922 PD was killed during a nuclear "terrorist attack" on a stadium in the city of Dobzhansky. Director of Security François McGillicuddy took over his duties temporarily.
