The Customer requested a taxi from Street Cars to take him to a casino and Steve McDonald, under strict instructions from Stella Price, offered to take the man himself rather than let Karl Munro have the fare and let him fall into temptation with his gambling. Not knowing this, Karl was put out that he was being asked to man the switch and when he found out the reason, assured Steve that he would be fine. In the meantime, the impatient customer loudly complained that it would be quicker taking a bus. Karl took the fare, was unable to resist a flutter and lost £200.
