41-VEX was a medical droid initially stationed at a clinic in Mos Eisley on Tatooine that, in an attempt to purchase its freedom, unwittingly indentured itself to Teemo the Hutt, who upgraded it to serve as a medical and maintenance droid in his palace. The droid escaped Teemo with the assistance of a group of adventurers.
