Danemon was once a samurai that Hideyasu 'Sōki' Yūki: once knew. He recognised Danemon escorting Hideyoshi's Genma Trees. It is then revealed that Danemon ate genma insects as a present from Hideyoshi, and grew stronger. Soki kills the infected Danemon with ease.
