Body By Jake, sometimes abbreviated to BBJ, was a nickname adopted by a serial killer later identified as Frank McNare. He was known to have engaged in a killing spree from the late 1980s into the 90's, and again in 2005. McNare chose this name for himself because his first victim was an aerobics instructor. His signature technique was to tie the legs of his victim, always women, to their neck in such a way as to force them to strangle themselves. He would do this while they were dressed in nothing but their underwear.
