Stan's Empire was an Imperial government in the Outer Rim bordering the Unknown Regions for close to thirty years, from 138 ABY to 166 ABY. It also existed in earlier years as the Vast Empire. Stan's Empire evolved from the Vast Empire; specifically, the Vast Empire was renamed Stan's Empire when he was proclaimed Emperor in 138 ABY. Stan's Empire existed on a more galactic scale from 172 ABY to 181 ABY, comparable to the size of Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire. This was accomplished through a merger with the Galactic Republic Union, which had co-existed peacefully with Stan's Empire since 138 ABY.
