The light novel, manga, and anime series High School DxD features a diverse cast of characters created by Ichiei Ishibumi and Miyama-Zero. The plot focuses on Issei Hyodo, a perverted young man attending Kuoh Academy who is killed by his first date, a Fallen Angel. He is later revived by Rias Gremory, a crimson-haired girl and school beauty who reveals herself as a devil. Issei soon discovers from her that he has been reborn as a Devil made to serve the Gremory Family of Devils, thus beginning his new life in the Occult Research Club(オカルト研究部Okaruto Kenkyū-bu). As of Volume 10, most of the main characters have moved into the Hyodo Residence.
