The VC-2 assault bomber, commonly known as the Commerce Guild bomber, was a small air-to-surface and anti-capital ship starfighter. The bomber was easily recognized by its shape. It had a distinctive flat underside covered by a thin, slightly rounded top. Jutting out from the top deck was a long tail vane, similar to the N-1 starfighter. Following the execution of the Separatist Council by Darth Sidious's new apprentice, Darth Vader, these units were de-activated.
