Shiba Esade was the Master of Earth who built the shrine to Shinsei at Holy Home Village. At the Dawn of the Empire, Esade oversaw the construction taking place there. Pilgrims came to the holy town bearing rocks from all over Rokugan for Esade to incorporate into the village, and the road was named Esade's Walk. Esade used all the stones brought there, which fit together perfectly and the Shinsei Seido had since lasted for centuries.
