Raman is a word from the Old Tongue roughly translated meaning "supreme ruler." The Old Ones used the term between c. KY 80,450 BGC and 579 BGC in deference to their overlords, the Wizard Princes. The joKara did not use the term for themselves, preferring to use either the Valerian or joKaran terms instead. Raman is currently only in use by the Koridians, as an honorific in reference to their emperor.
