Fairy distemper is a rare, though highly contagious fairy illness. Its symptoms include coughing, change in glow color, and difficulty sleeping. Fairies who contract fairy distemper are quarrantined to prevent other fairies from catching it as well. When Tinker Bell had appeared to lose her talent in The Trouble With Tink, Queen Clarion suspected she had come down with it.
