Edgar Louis Laprade (born October 10, 1919) was a Canadian professional centre who played for the New York Rangers in the National Hockey League. He was born in Mine Centre, Ontario. Laprade played junior hockey with the Port Arthur West End from 1935-39. He then spent six seasons with the Port Arthur Bearcats of the Thunder Bay Senior Hockey League. He helped the Bearcats win the 1938-39 Allan Cup Final. In 1943-44 he played for the Winnipeg Army team. In 1944-45 Laprade played for the senior Barriefield Bears in Kingston. Laprade was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1993.
