It's a piece of Milleniummon (from the WonderSwan games, they're easily found on Digimon Wiki). Short story is that Millenniummon, after being killed by Ken and Akiyama Ryou, Milleniummon dissolved not into data but into dark seeds (spores). They tried to possess Ryou, but Ken jumped in the way and it hit him in the neck.
