He is a Native American. He is a doctor in anthropology of the State University in that region. He comes to Gaitlin and Hemingsford to investigate, what drove the children at Gaitlin into committing the mass murder of adults there and teams up with John Garrett. He discovers the Afrotoxin, that contributed to the disaster, and that the townspeople mix in every year´s corn for which he and Garrett are nearly murdered by the policeman in Hemingford, who acted in the interest of most of the townspeople there.
