The Defense Building is the headquarters of the Allied States Department of Defense, located in the Federal Administrative Center, New Bay City, Texas. In some cases, because of symbolism, the Department of Defense is sometimes referred to as the D.B. (pronounced Dee-Bee). The building was designed by Berg Georgestrom in late 2009, and built by GeneTas Industries. Construction ended on 24 July, 2010. Approximately 14,000 civilians and military employees work in the Defense Building.
