The Snowthorn was the head of the Department of WhatThe. It looked more than a little like a Real World gorse bush, but with white flowers. Like the Authoritative Elanor and Bonsai Mallorn, the Snowthorn was brought into Headquarters by the Board of Department Heads and Awakened in Room One, as a sort of memorial to the murdered Evermind. During the events of Swan's Egg, the Snowthorn and the Clover were killed by a berserk DIO agent named Peter Piper. The state of its department after its death is as of yet unknown.
