During SG-1's mission to rescue Jacob Carter from Netu, the Tok'ra High Council ordered Aldwin to launch a weapon at the planet's core that would destroy the moon as well as Sokar's Ha'tak in orbit in a chain reaction. However, the plan would also claim the life of SG-1, Martouf, and Jacob Carter. When Major Samantha Carter contacted the Tel'tak, Teal'c tried to stop him from launching but failed.
