Mrs. Cartwright, played by Victoria Willing, is a minor character. She is Jay's mother and Terry Cartwright's wife. She often unwittingly interrupts Jay while he is doing things in private, such as masturbating or looking at his fake ID. * Both Victoria Willing and Robin Weaver who plays Pamela Cooper (Simon's mother) star in the 4th series of 'Him and Her'. Victoria plays Laura and Becky's Aunt Sue, whilst Robin plays the registrar at Laura and Paul's wedding.
