Julian Clifford Mance, Jr. aka Junior Mance (born October 10, 1928) was a Human jazz pianist and composer from Chicago on Earth who lived during the 20th century. William T. Riker was a fan of Junior Mance, including his classic standard "Blue Mance" and his trio's rendition of "Emily", which held sentimental value to him. Deanna Troi used the words "sophisticated" and "elegant" to describe his playing. (TNG novel: A Time to Heal) The USS Titan's shuttlecraft, the Mance, was named after him.
