Anaxes was a planet located in the Core Worlds. Shortly before the Alsakan Crisis of 13,000 BBY, Jedi Grandmaster Banik Kelrada brought his Jedi Padawan, Violet Tempest, to Anaxes to show her the slums of the world. Also, the heavily armed world was used to rally Republic forces for the counterattack on Coruscant during the Alsakan Crisis. In the Hutt War, it was used as a base to launch the Republic raiding fleet to Taris. Towards the end of the Great Sovereign Crusades thousands of years later, Ussej Padric Bac III fought Jedi Master Khaluq Chan'drane on Anaxes.
