Troll Gauntlets were exceedingly rare, worn by trolls that enhanced the power of their natural strikes. Made from jagged, sharpened pieces of obsidian, they were worn over the trolls' own claws and fastened in place with lengthy strips of leather that wrapped around the hands. Wounds which became infected subjected the victim to the Shadowlands Taint.
