Rhoda Lewis (born 25th June, 1933) played Lucille Hewitt's schoolteacher Miss Welch in February 1963 and then Lillian Smith, wife of Dave, on Coronation Street intermittently from April to September 1969. Her other credits include The Avengers, Emergency-Ward 10, Softly Softly, The War of Darkie Pilbeam (written by Tony Warren), Z Cars, Doomwatch, Callan, The Onedin Line, Edward the Seventh, Crown Court, Doctor Who, Death of an Expert Witness, The Bretts, The Bill, Casualty and Hustle.
