The Oklahoma Tornado outbreak of May 3rd - 6th 1999 is famous for creating 66 tornadoes over the states of Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, and Tennessee, including the Oklahoma city tornado which was the strongest tornado ever recorded. It is by far the most infamous tornado outbreak in Oklahoma history causing the most damage but not the most lives.
