Eric tries to sneak Gloria out of the flat, but as they head down stairs in the restaurant, Betty catches them. At the Dingles, Eric falls foul of his own security arrangements when he is hit in the groin by a large sack and is knocked out by Cain. In The Woolpack, everyone talks about the impending trial, and doubt starts to reign about Jack's innocence, but Rodney leaps to Jack's defence and says that he is innocent until proven guilty.
