Soth Romar was an Argelian male who lived in the 24th century. In 2385 he was a rear admiral in Starfleet, in command of the Ninth Fleet based out of Gamma Hydra. He attended a meeting held by Admiral Akaar in the aftermath of the assassination of Nanietta Bacco and appointment of Ishan Anjar as President Pro-Tempore of the United Federation of Planets to discuss potential threats during the crisis. He advised that Romulan fleets seemed to have begun exploration corewards in the Beta Quadrant, suggesting a possible threat to the Federation's Luna-class explorer ships there.
