Capture The Flag in Quake is like Capture The Flag in real life or in any game. There are two ends of the map, one with each flag and occupied by each team, the player must get to the other side and take the other flag back to their side. If killed, the flag will be dropped and returned to the other side if walked into. Both sides are often identical being changed only in colour, to make sure players don't get lost.
