Josh Prescott is a rear (two-star) admiral in the U.S. Navy. He is first introduced to Steve Austin during U-509. Steve uses the admiral's safe to demonstrate how he can use his strength to board the submarine while it is underwater. He appears again in Sharks and Sharks (Part II) where he is turning the submarine Stingray over to the OSI when it experiences a sudden power failure. In each of these episodes the admiral is put in the difficult position of having to order attacks on the submarines while Steve is presumed aboard. Oscar uses his powers of persuasion to convince the admiral otherwise.
