The Military Order of the Stars & Bars is an fraternal organisation with a membership limited to male descendants of officers having served in the armed forces of the Confederate States of America, its government or was a member of the Five Civilized Tribes serving alongside them. The group's aim is to promote awareness of the history of the CSA via scholarship and literrary awards as well as sponsoring monuments and events relating to it.
