Svetlana Loboda is a Ukrainian pop singer. She began her career in 2003 by forming the band Catch. The following year, she joined the band Nu Virgos, who had some success in Japan. She left the band the same year to pursue a solo career. She was chosen to represent her home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow with the song Be My Valentine (Anti Crisis Girl), which qualified for the final, finishing in 12th place.
