For unknown reasons, Pistol along with Peg and Chainsaw are absent from the series's 1995 follow-up film, A Goofy Movie and its 2000 sequel An Extremely Goofy Movie. Though one theory says that sometime after Goof Troop and before A Goofy Movie, Peg divorced Pete and left taking Pistol (and possibly Chainsaw) with her. She is voiced by Nancy Cartwright who also voices Bart Simpson.
