The Mk II Bridge (also known as the GF Bridge) is a type of bridge created by the Galactic Federation. There is only one that is ever found in the Metroid Series, found in the room Industrial Site in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. When Samus first finds this bridge, it is locked in place and must be lowered in order for Samus to use it. Samus can lower it by scaning a nearby Interface Module and then shooting the two Armored Security Locks that are keeping the bridge in place. The bridge will fall into place and Samus can cross the bridge.
