A chicken foot tied with a string was a cultural object used by the inmates of Sona to challenge another to orientacion and settle whatever problem they have with each other. The inmate drops the chicken foot infront of their enemy: inspiring respect from the crowd and fear towards his challenger. Lechero addresses the situation, explains the rules and gives them 15 minutes to prepare and pray to whichever God they worship.
