The Creep pouch is an optional Zerg mutation used by ground forces. As creep provides a boost in movement speed, some strains chose to evolve small sacs to store an amount for emergencies. Though the extra weight would slow down normal species, the Zerg are more than capable of carrying it while retaining full combat capabilities. Often located just under their carapaces, the pouch can keep the user mobile for days.
