Emma Cunniffe (born 3rd July 1973 in Chester) appeared on Coronation Street between May and July 2014 as DS Hawthorn, the leading officer assigned to investigate the murder of Tina McIntyre. With a career dating back to the early 1990s, some of her numerous credits include roles in The 10 Percenters, Cracker, Dangerfield, Hetty Wainthropp Investigates, Dalziel and Pascoe, The Lakes, Blue Murder, Clocking Off, Silent Witness, Holby City, Midsomer Murders, The Bill, Casualty, Doctor Who and Moving On.
